Ancient Roman Peacock

Bulgari launched the "Divas' Dream" series in 2018, which uses the "fan" to form a complex "peacock" totem, integrating ancient Roman elements and noble and beautiful symbols. The designer creates works full of visual tension through hollow design, gem inlay and other processes.

The "fan" pattern originates from the mosaic decoration of the ancient Rome "Terme di Caracalla". In the new work, the designer highlighted the use of gemstones. In the "fan" hollow pendant, colorful gemstones cut into a fan or triangle were inlaid to create the luxurious beauty of high-end jewelry.

Persian vine

Inspired by a long history of Arab love story "Layla and Majnun", Persia imitates the complex pattern totem in Persian decorative style, extending from the necklace to the pendant. The small round diamonds inlaid between the patterns make the whole work more brilliant.

Venice Winged Lion

The theme of "Spirito di Venezia" is "Winged Lion", the emblem of the city of Venice, which creates a majestic lion shape. The silhouette of the lion sets off a 10.07ct water drop diamond. The main stone is a 10.07ct water drop shaped cutting diamond, which reaches the D color and Flawless cleanliness level. It is a Type IIa diamond, embellished with round cutting diamonds.

Indian Thunderbird

The jewelry work "Thunderbird" launched by Jacque Aiche, an American jeweler, is inspired by the Indian legend of the god "Thunderbird". The designer interprets this theme through two styles. The golden carving process shapes the vivid image of "Thunderbird", full of natural vitality; Carved gemstones and bright diamond rims present an abstract and minimalist "Thunderbird" totem.

Thunderbird is a giant divine bird in Native American legend. It looks like an eagle and has the ability to call thunder and lightning. When it beats its wings, it causes thunder; Blinking eyes release lightning. Jacquie Aiche integrates this mythical image into the jewelry design, symbolizing the unswerving power and bringing protection like a talisman.

Eye of Horus, Egypt

The "Lovelock" series of the British jeweler Annoushka combines two modeling elements, namely "amulet" and "padlock", and skillfully integrates the amulet totems such as stars, the eye of Horus, and the heart of arrow. Each of them has a special symbolic meaning.

Arabesque

The Italian jeweler Sicis "Arabesque" series is inspired by the rise of "Arabesque" in the Middle Ages. The new work uses the "Micro Mosaic" process to arrange small enamel inlays into geometric patterns, representing vines, branches and leaves, full of exotic flavor.

compass rose
The history of the "Compass Rose" can be traced back to the 13th century A.D., when the compass coordinate pattern of eight pointed stars appeared in the nautical charts. The top star pointed to the "Polaris", representing the true north. The other seven stars pointed clockwise to the northeast, due east, southeast, due south, southwest, due west and northwest respectively. Because the compass coordinate pattern is like the petal of a rose, it is called "compass rose".

In the work of diamond inlaying, the designer skillfully uses gradually sized diamonds to form 8 stars, and the multi-level and geometric symmetrical patterns create a beautiful feeling.

Snake Totem of Ancient Egypt

The "Snakes" series launched by the Danish jeweler Ole Linggaard Copenhagen draws inspiration from the "snake shaped" totem of ancient Egypt, and integrates the flexible "snake shaped" elements into the collar and bracelet design to create vivid works.

11

"Snake" is one of the oldest totem elements. As early as in ancient Egypt, people used gold to make snake shaped bracelets and armbands as a symbol of loyalty and divinity. You can see the crisscross carving patterns on the snake body, just like the snake scale pattern.

Mexico Skull Totem

The element of the dead is an important symbol of Mexican culture, "Get Inked!" Inspired by Mexican spirits and tattoo art, the whole ring face is composed of flowers and skeletons, and is naturally connected by ribbons outlined by diamonds - the petals are shaped like hearts and are paved with pink sapphires; The skeleton uses purple enamel as the background. One side of the cheek is painted with rose and ribbon totem, and the other side is paved with diamonds, forming a rich visual hierarchy. A heart shaped diamond is embedded at the tip of the nose, which is the highlight of the whole work.

Pearl
Pearl is known as the "Queen of Gems" because of its crystal clear, dignified, mellow, colorful, elegant and pure. Pearls with magnificent colors and elegant temperament, symbolizing health, purity, magnificence, wealth and happiness, have been loved by people since ancient times.
13
All dynasties in China regarded pearls as national treasures and were called "gems on the moon". From ancient myths to legends, pearls have always been considered as a gift from gods to the earth, worshipped as a totem by human beings. When the pearl meets the totem design full of folk customs, it shows its treasure charm.

Greek Wave Totem

The jewelry series "Calipso" launched by Italian jeweler Sicis Jewels is inspired by the Greek goddess of the sea "Calypso". The new work continues the iconic mosaic micro inlay process of Sicis Jewels, outlines the flowing wave pattern, and matches with Akoya light blue pearl to create a natural ocean atmosphere.

15

Japanese Akoya pearls with light blue halos were selected to echo the color of enamel inlays. The pearls bred in the ocean just fit the theme of "Sea Goddess". Among them, 165 pearls on Calipso necklace took 2 years to collect, with perfect matching luster and color. The bead chains are skillfully integrated with drop shaped platinum and diamond links, with a natural and flexible style.

Bohemian ethos

In Bohemian style works, the designer used tassels, embroidery and skirt lace as decorative elements. The most special is an Amelia Pendant in the shape of a perfume bottle. The rose gold bottle is inlaid with diamonds and champagne diamonds as stars, and the cork on the top is inlaid with a white pearl, which is full of exotic flavor.

17

Natural totem pattern
Dior jewelry series - "Perles de D é sir" matches natural pearls with Dior's iconic design elements, such as the "four leaf clover" totem representing luck, the "bee" totem of Dior Homme men's wear series, Christian Dior's "lucky star" totem, etc. The warm texture of pearls matches with the metallic luster, which is suitable for natural wear.

18

The most special design is an independent pearl earring, which connects pearl earrings, pendant and star shaped ear clips with a smooth arc. The whole arc fits the contour behind the ear, and one end extends into a bright pentagram star to decorate the ear; The other end is inlaid with a round pearl, which sets off a three-dimensional and vivid bee shape; Four leaf clover, star and a baroque pearl are hanging under the earrings, gently swaying with the wearer's action.

Ancient Totem Sun Worship

The Japanese jeweler Tasaki's "M/G TASAKI" series of works - "Merge", with the theme of "integration", the designer matched the gold made rings, beads, spherical shells with pearls, so that the two materials with different textures can be naturally integrated to create a totem like shape.

20

"Woven" draws inspiration from the art of weaving and creates a gold ring for each pearl, like a planetary ring wrapped around the planet. Woven necklace arranges pearls into a grid shape, making polished and rope textured gold rings crisscross, forming a texture like woven fabric; Woven interdigital ring connects five pearls in a coherent and layered way.

21

"Grain" uses gold to create a radiant pattern like the sun's rays, and between the tracks are pearls and gold beads of varying size, with excellent visual tension. The most special design is a Grain interdigital ring, which is composed of two semi open rings. Bright beads extend along different tracks, just like grains on golden ears of wheat.

Russian Byzantine style

British jeweler Annoushka has just launched a new season of jewelry series - "Touch Wood", inspired by the domed church in Russia. The most special feature of the new series is the carving decoration of natural pearls, which imitates the three-dimensional onion dome structure and reproduces the magnificent Byzantine style buildings like miniature sculptures.

23

The onion dome is the most representative element of Russian architecture, symbolizing the burning candle. The new series interprets this three-dimensional structure with pearls of different colors, such as Nanyang Golden Pearl, Nanyang White Pearl, Tahiti Peacock Pearl, etc. Arnoushka skillfully makes use of the round and full shape of the pearls, and the surface is carved with delicate patterns, which reminds people of the rich decorative patterns of onion shaped domes.
